TOUR DESCRIPTION

PRE-NIGHT: Arrive at any time and check into your accommodation (included in the price!) at Nomads Noosa Hostel. Please ensure you are on time for the mandatory briefing at 6:30pm.

3 DAY FRASER ISLAND TOUR (incl. 2 nights camping): Departing from stunning Noosa Heads, our K’gari Safari Tour is a 3 day, 2 nights camping adventure that will take you on a journey through all that this magnificent World Heritage listed island has to offer. Whether you’re driving along the famous 75 mile beach highway, diving into the pristine lakes and rivers or marvelling at the world’s only rainforest growing on sand, you’ll enjoy every moment in this natural wonderland. At the end of each unforgettable day, guests can relax and unwind around the campfire at our exclusive safari campsite, enjoy a great meal and a few quiet drinks in the company of new friends. K’gari Safari Camp is located 5 minutes from the Maheno Shipwreck and 10 minutes from the crystal clear waters of Eli Creek. The camp is protected by a well-maintained dingo fence and is just a short walk from the beach. The site has hot showers, an ablution block and a mini general store. Absolutely everything you need for camping is also catered for as our safari tents have proper beds, comfortable spring mattresses and bedding.

POST-NIGHT: After the 3 day Fraser Island Jeep Safari you will return to Noosa by ferry in the evening. Followed by a final party! The post-tour night at Nomads Noosa Hostel is also included in the price.

GENERAL TOUR CONDITIONS/RULES

There is a mandatory pre-tour briefing at Nomads Noosa Youth Resort at 6:30pm on the day before departure to the island. Please be ready at Nomads reception by 6:30am on the morning of departure to the island. If you miss the bus you will miss the tour. Please ensure you have checked out of your room before boarding the bus. Passengers wishing to drive jeeps themselves must be at least 21 years old and have a valid driver's license (minimum 2 years driving experience required). Guests are responsible for any damage caused during the tour through negligence - this includes at the campsite, in the vehicles or when staying at Nomads Noosa. We accept no responsibility and will not compensate for any loss or damage to your personal belongings while in storage or during the tour. The tour leader may exclude one or more guests from the tour in the event of misconduct. Should a tour be cancelled due to adverse conditions or events beyond the control of the operator, guests will be offered alternative dates subject to availability. The itinerary is subject to change prior to departure or during the tour without notice. Typical Queensland events such as cyclones, flash floods or bushfires, injuries, illness or vehicle problems may occur. If weather conditions make it impossible to reach the island, we will contact you as soon as we know we cannot travel to reschedule your booking. Guests are responsible for treating all medical issues and costs associated with an emergency evacuation from the island due to illness or injury. For these reasons, we strongly recommend travel insurance (please ask us about it!). The voucher is non-refundable/exchangeable after purchase. No money back if your desired date is not available. A refund is only possible in extreme cases (this means: +-7 days before/after your desired date nothing is available). Once you have set your specific start date with us, cancellations/changes to your date are permitted up to 10 days before your start date. If you miss your set departure date or do not rebook in time (10 days deadline) before the scheduled departure date, your voucher will be invalid. We recommend setting the start date as early as possible (subject to availability! Vouchers cannot be redeemed for tours that are already fully booked).
